Reminder about transfers - EVERYBODY READ!

Post  Rob on Thu Oct 09, 2008 12:16 am

After recent events and discussions I would like to remind people that buying players for the sake of buying is NOT allowed. I understand people may get a load of money and will want to spend it but to go out and spend millions on a player when he will hardly play/be back up when someone else wants him as a main player is very unfair and can create a huge problem being Inflation as the person who bought him will obviously want to sell him on for more.

If this continues to happen then there will be some action taken.

Thank you.

I can only assume your talking about me after talking to me on msn yesterday, the way I see it is I sold my players now Im trying to sign others. I will bid on every outsider within reason but not just because I can. If I dont particularly need that player Ill bid like say £1m over the starting bid to try get a bargain.

I dont see how you ca understand that.

It was a reminder to everyone.

But since you've brought it up...

''If I dont particularly need that player Ill bid like say £1m over the starting bid to try get a bargain.''

This is very unfair on other users... you just randomly bidding for players when you don't need him. I can't stop people from bidding on players but all I'm saying is that you calm down on the outsider market. You're not doing yourself any favours... I spoke to a few members last night and lets put it this way, they aren't to happy about it.

I can see that you're replacing the players you sold, that's fine.
But you're bidding for everyone, regardless of who they are and also u don't know who some of them are but u still bid.

Kameni summed it up Alex... You bidded and then said ''He's a goalkeeper, Right?'' later editing it...

Yeah I thought he was a keeper .. I needed a cheap gk. Really dont see the problem in adding to my squad. You even added me to a convo on msn last night saying Im an idiot for selling my best players and I wont be able to replace them. Now Im an idiot for bidding on players to replace them Rolling Eyes . Everyone needs good subs and reserves and every player put up on the outers although not world class is good so whats the problem in bidding to get good subs. As you see I bidded on Veloso once cheap to try and get a good sub for cheap money but now its got higher Ive left it because I dont want him. As for the other three Im not going to be cautious about bidding for players I really want, to be honest its my money Ive made from selling my players so is I wanna buy players to replace them I will do and I dont see what the problem.

Sorry if people think Im buying everyone but thats football you dont see Scolari crying insulting Hughes for buying Robinho.
